How it works

The finder matches the day and month of your birth (the year doesn't matter — a birthday twin can be from any era). It draws on a large set of notable people and orders them by how widely recognised they are, so you see familiar names rather than an endless list. Only the people for your specific date are loaded, so it stays fast and light even on a phone.

Filtering your results

Want to see only people from your country, or only musicians, scientists or athletes? Use the filters. If a country has no famous figures recorded for your exact date, the finder simply lets you switch back to the worldwide list rather than showing an empty result — coverage is naturally stronger for some countries than others, because the underlying records lean toward globally documented figures.
